Governing Board
The Governing Board plays a very important role at Maple Grove. The Governing Board is comprised of parents, Maple Grove staff members and may include a representative from the Lachine community. The Principal works with the Governing Board to address the needs of the students and the school.
The primary function of the Governing Board is to adopt the Educational Project of the school, to adopt the annual school budget and to respond to consultations on policies from the Lester B. Pearson School Board.
Governing Board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month.
In September of each year, all parents of students attending Maple Grove will receive an invitation to a meeting to describe the role of the Governing Board and to elect representatives.

Governing Board meetings are on a hybrid schedule. Some will be in person and some will be online. If you would like to attend, please email the principal to receive the information for that month.
